The chair (1) is designed to be moved backwards or forwards and to be turned, but is prevented from turning (i.e. rotating about its vertical axis) during backward or forward movement. A blocking mechanism is provided for preventing backwards/forwards movement when activated and another blocking mechanism is provided for preventing turning movement when activated. The chair has three or more wheels (3, 4) and the blocking mechanisms are activated by the person sitting on the chair. |
