PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding method and a winding device capable of extending a service life of a clutch and allowing a continuous operation in a clutch failure. SOLUTION: When driving power is transmitted to a winding roll through the clutch, and a sheet is wound by using the winding roll, the clutch of the winding roll is changed over to another one every time the sheet is fully rolled. This sheet winding device equipped with the winding roll and the clutches for transmitting the driving power to the winding roll includes a means for changing over the clutch of a driving shaft of the winding roll every time the sheet is fully wound.
