PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing apparatus which pursues a reduction of an environmental stress by preparing a washing course using the alkaline wash water and can enjoy if necessary even the detergency of a surface active agent. SOLUTION: The water supply is executed from a water inlet 53 to a washing tub 30 of a washing machine 1. A first detergent chamber 54a in the water inlet 53 is to contain an alkaline agent and a second detergent chamber 54b is to contain a normal detergent for washing including the surface active agent. When a first washing course is executed, an output port 50a of a feed valve 50 is opened and the water is poured in the first detergent chamber 54a to generate the alkaline wash water. When a second washing course is executed, an output port 50b of the feed valve 50 is opened to generate the wash water including the surface active agent. A hard ingredient eliminating apparatus 90 is disposed in a water supply channel 52a connected to the output port 50a so that the wash water used in the first washing course is made to have low hardness besides being alkaline.
