PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component management system capable of easily obtaining the information necessary to a person who seeks component information.

SOLUTION: The component management system includes a means for obtaining and storing information about components in a database; a means for searching the database for this component information; and a means for obtaining search information about searches for the component information, and storing this search information in the database. The component information includes information about a person who has selected or used the components. The search information includes information about a person who has conducted searches for the components.
