PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder certainly assuring a drying time of the first page in the case of printing of both sides. SOLUTION: In the case of the printing of both sides, it is judged whether the conveying distance exceeds a threshold value established beforehand after setting the suppression flag of skip operation to ON in a writing control section 60.
