<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a resolver and a bearing capable of attaining space saving, reduction in man-hours for machining and high assemblability. <P>SOLUTION: The structure mounts the resolver for detecting a rotational position of a rotating shaft 3 of a rotary electric machine 1, and the bearing 7 for retaining the rotating shaft 3. The resolver includes a resolver rotor 9 installed on the rotating shaft 3, and a resolver stator 10 installed on the outside of the resolver rotor 9. The bearing 7 includes an inner race 7A installed on the rotating shaft 3 and an outer race 7B installed on the outside of the inner race 7A.
