PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed information integrating method allowing change or the like without affecting an existing function and easily keeping synchronism, and a system using this. SOLUTION: In the distributed information integrating method, distributed information existing under a distributed computing environment is integrated. A search/edit function acquires information related to a plurality of system information accessing functions disposed in each system to be integrated from the information stored in constitution information based on a search condition specified from an application, requests the plurality of system information access functions to acquire information on a plurality of databases in each system to be integrated, suitably edits the acquired information to produce a search result, and provides it to the application.
