PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to discharge gas always by forming a valve member inserted into a vent from a plurality of valve member pieces and preventing the pieces from being inserted simultaneously. SOLUTION: In a device for preventing the vent-up of a screw type extruder, the valve member (5) for removing a resin which is inserted into the vent (11) of a cylinder (2) and deposited is formed from the valve member pieces (5a, 5b,...), and the pieces (5a, 5b,...) are prevented from being inserted simultaneously into the vent (11) so that gas can always be discharged.
