PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and thin optical lens unit driving device for portable equipment for a camera lens of portable equipment. SOLUTION: In a motor part 110, a stator magnetic pole 112 magnetized to two poles, and engaged with a permanent magnet rotor 111 comprising a pair of permanent magnets 118a and 118b provided up and down while holding a pinion 119 at the center part of a shaft through a minute gap, separated up and down and disposed nearly in a linear band shape is disposed and wiring yoke A 113 and a wiring yoke B 114 around which a magnet wire is properly wound are disposed nearly in parallel so as to be nearly orthogonal to the stator magnetic pole 112, whereby a closed magnetic circuit is constituted via a back yoke 115. The permanent magnet rotor 111 is engaged with a feed screw 117 through a reduction wheel train 116, and then the wheel train group 116, the wiring yoke A 113 and the wiring yoke B 114 are disposed to be planar at a position opposed to the stator magnetic pole 112.
