PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable and highly durable compressor with reduced height in the compressor having a rotor, a shaft fixing the rotor, and a bearing part which are incorporated in a closed container. SOLUTION: In this compressor, an electric element 203 formed of a stator 205 and the rotor 204, the shaft 250 on which the rotor 204 is fixed, and a cylinder block 255 to which the stator 205 is fixed and having the bearing part 257 pivoting the shaft 250 are installed in the closed container 201. The rotor 204 comprises a locking hole 253 fixedly fitted to the shaft 250, a boss part 273 in which the bearing part 257 is extended, and an end plate 264 closing the lower end opening part 263 of the storage hole 262 of a permanent magnet 261.
