A wrapper (26) for a roll of material comprises a body wrap portion (30) for extending around the circumference of the roll of material (28), a first end member (32) a second end member (36) and fastener means (40) which forms an integral part of the wrapper (26), which enables the wrapper (26) to be removably secured around the roll of material (28) to protect the roll of material (28) until the roll of material (28) is to be used, and to be reusable on other rolls of material (28). The fastener means (40) may comprise hook and loop fasteners. The wrapper may carry reflective tape adjacent to where it should be opened, and one or more identity tags. |
