<p>A transformer includes a plurality of windings (290, 390, 490) wound on an insulating bobbin, which in turn includes a plurality of coil formers (200, 300; 200, 300, 400) each having at least one respective winding (290, 390) wound thereon. Each coil former (200, 300; 200, 300, 400) includes two separating end walls (212...215, 312...315, 412...415) providing insulation of the respective winding, and at least one of the end walls (214, 215; 314, 315; 414, 415) of the coil formers has a protruding portion (204, 225, 306, 309, 403, 405) extending in correspondence with a neighbouring coil former. The protruding portion in question may include a wall extension (225, 305, 405) at least partly covering the respective winding provided in the neighbouring coil former, and/or a pin stand (204; 306, 309; 403).</p> |
