PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change diamond pellets in short time by making a rotary surface plate by sticking a disc division piece to the surface of which diamond pellets are fixed at prescribed intervals to a sliding contact surface of a disc-shaped rotary surface plate main body with a double coated adhesive tape. SOLUTION: When diamond pellets 4 of a rotary surface plate main body are remarkably worn away and exceed their use limits, a rotary surface plate is removed from a both-side lapping surface plate and the rotary surface plate is placed on a rack assembled with square timber so that the sliding contact surface 2 of the rotary surface plate main body 1 may be turned upward. Subsequently, peeling paper 6 of a double coated adhesive tape 5 on the rear surface of a disc division piece 3 is peeled, the disc division piece 3 is in pressure contact with the sliding contact surface 2 of the rotary surface plate main body 1 and is stuck. After all the disc division pieces 3 are stuck to the rotary surface plate main body 1, the rotary surface plate is remounted on the both-side lapping surface plate and a changing working is terminated. |
