PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure brake responsiveness at the time of hard brake when both regenerative brake and friction brake are practiced, in order to meet the request of a large braking force. SOLUTION: A requested braking force Gt is determined, for instance, according to brake operation value. When a maximum regenerative braking force Grm which is determined according to a vehicle speed and obtained by a motor 2 is larger than the requested braking force Gt, the braking operation is practiced by regenerative brake only. When the requested braking force Gt is larger than the maximum regenerative braking force Grm, both the regenerative braking and friction braking by a disc brake, etc., are executed. When both the regenerative braking and friction braking are practiced, for instance at the time of hard when the brake operation speed is high, the ratio of the friction braking which is superior in responsiveness is large (the ratio of the regenerative braking which is inferior in responsiveness is made small). |
