FIELD: testing engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: clamp comprises housing, wedge-shaped clamping jaws mounted inside the housing and provided with gearing changeable inserts, device for locking inserts, and driving unit. The inserts are cylindrical, riffled throughout the generatrix surface, and mounted in the openings for permitting changing the position of the surface that is in a contact with the specimen with respect to its axis. The openings are made in jaws parallel to the axis of symmetry and clamp. The working surface of the inserts project out of the plane of the jaw at a distance that is less than half of diameter. The inserts are locked in the testing position in the jaws by means of a locking device mounted at the face of the jaw that has screw device, plank, and spacers. ^ EFFECT: prolonged service life and enhanced reliability. ^ 1 cl, 4 dwg |
