FIELD: forestry, in particular, processes used on arid region territories for afforestation of areas with inaccessible ground water or areas with restricted access by tree roots to ground water. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves planting main kind plants and plants of associated kinds; creating crops from kinds differing in their sensitivity to soil fertility, soil moisture deficiency and also having various root growth power in regions with insufficient atmospheric moisture content in case of massive afforestation of areas with inaccessible ground water and areas with restricted access by plant roots to ground water; providing uniform placement of main kind and secondary kind plants over area; planting main kind plants in an amount inversely proportional to atmospheric precipitation deficiency; using xerophyte, halophyte or oligotrophic kinds of plants the most long-living under the given conditions. ^ EFFECT: improved moistening of main kind plants throughout the entire life of plantation. |
