<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentic PC connection system that can ensure convenience and prevent security accidents while allowing the connection of a mobile PC carried out of a company from outside an intranet and imposing use restrictions. <P>SOLUTION: The authentic PC connection system comprises a card 11, a PC 21 usable as the card 11 is inserted, an authentication server 4 for authenticating the PC 21 with the card 11 inserted, a gate server 3 for requesting the authentication server 4 to authenticate and register the card 11, and networks 61 and 62, and has a firewall 5. The gate server 3 has a function of storing security information to a card 12.
