<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opener with which a used cloth such as a shower curtain used in a bathroom, an ordinary curtain, a sheet, etc., is opened and reproduced as a recycled product similar to staple fibers. <P>SOLUTION: The opener is equipped with a conveyor apparatus 30 for feeding a cloth 100, an upper and a lower front feed rollers 10 and 11 for firmly holding the fed cloth 100 so as not slide the cloth and an upper and a lower rear feed rollers 70 and 71. A cylinder 3 furnished with a metallic wire 6 for opening the cloth 110 is arranged behind the rear feed rollers 70 and 71. The outer peripheral surfaces of the rear feed rollers 70 and 71 are spirally equipped with metallic wires 102. The metallic wire 6 opens the tip part of the cloth 100 by the high-speed rotation of the cylinder 3. A cloth is cleanly opened even if fed in an original form as it is, the opening process of a cloth is simplified, a time required for opening is shortened, a low-cost recycled product is reproduced and an opened recycled product has a shape similar to staple fibers of a new product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
