PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal unit enabling easy confirmation of the environment of a certain location, obtained by a portable terminal unit on the transmitting side from a terminal unit user on the receiving side. SOLUTION: A communication section 2b receives location information and environment information, transmitted from a mobile terminal on the transmitting side via an antenna 2a. When the communications section 2b receives location information, a control unit 2d acquires map information from a map server, including the location indicated by the received location information. The control unit 2d displays on a display unit 2e, a screen on which the environment indicated by the environmental information accepted from the communication section 2b is displayed on the map, indicated by the acquired map information.
