PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an inexpensive device (1), and to enable shape inspection, even for a measured object having a large radius of curvature (2). SOLUTION: A method for measuring a mirror face shape includes a step of reflecting a color pattern 3 for recognizing a first stripe pattern, when being noticed on a first color component and recognizing a second stripe pattern on the mirror face-like surface of the measured object 1, when being noticed on a second color component and imaging a reflection image of the color pattern 3 on the surface with color cameras 5, 6 and 7; a step of finding normal vectors at a plurality of sampling points set on the mirror face-like surface, by using information obtained from the reflection image; and a step of finding the surface shape of the measured object 1 by using the normal vectors.
