PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase stability in a use condition of a safety cover for covering a pipe clamp used in assembling a temporary scaffold at construction work site to prevent occurrence of an accident due to catching of clothes, a hand, and a foot of a worker or a passerby passing its side. SOLUTION: This safety cover for the pipe clamp molded integrally like a bag by elastic soft synthetic resin has both of left and right side walls 7a, 7b and a peripheral wall 9 closing the surrounding between both of left and right side walls 7a and 7b by leaving an opening part 8 for mounting and dismounting the pipe clamp 2. Recessed parts 10a, 10b for mounting or dismounting a steel pipe which are continuously provided from the opening part 8 for mounting and dismounting and whose inlets are narrow are formed on both of left and right side walls 7a, 7b, and the whole cover is constituted to be symmetrical forward and backward relative to the center of the recessed parts 10a, 10b for mounting and dismounting the steel pipe.
