<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of an electric parking brake device provided with a plurality of parking brakes provided on a plurality of wheels and driven by an electric motor respectively. <P>SOLUTION: PKB switching switch 300 switchable to a first operation position for achieving a state in which all brakes 16 are operated as parking brakes and a second operation position achieving a state in which only the brakes 16 of the rear two wheels RL, RR are operated as the parking brakes is provided on the vehicle in which all brakes 16 of the four wheels FL, FR, RL, RR can be operated as the parking brakes.
