<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote lowering of a floor of a vehicle, by solving the problem of hindering the lowering of the floor of the vehicle, by clearing side collision performance, while minimizing an increase of car body weight, by solving the problem of increasing the car body weight for clearing the side collision performance. <P>SOLUTION: This car body structure is composed of left and right side sills 51L and 51R arranged outside a car width of side frames 42L and 42R, a member 61 for connecting the pair of left and right side frames 42L and 42R and left and right side sills 51L and 51R in the car width direction, and a horizontal connecting member 53 separated to the rear of a car body from this member 61 and connecting the pair of mutual left and right side frames.
