PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface high in degree of freedom and expression power in a large-capacity recorded medium. SOLUTION: A flag is set to indicate whether a play item is a multiangle structure to be reproduced by a plurality of angles. A flag is set at the head of a decoding unit to indicate an angle switching point. In the seamless multiangle structure, angle switching is enabled even without increasing interleave units. In a nonseamless multiangle structure, by inhibiting angle switching of the predetermined area of the tail side of each angle using this flag, the discontinuity of reproduction is eliminated when the device is out of the multiangle. By setting a flag indicating whether a sub-play item is reproducible asynchronously with a main path, the sub-play item of audio only is used as a BGM. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
