PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unpacking device for a rolled pack capable of safely and easily unpacking the rolled pack and also improving work efficiency. SOLUTION: The unpacking device 20 for a rolled pack includes at least a rotary cutting means 27 designed such that a cutter 13 is thrust into the packing material 1 of the cuttable end of the rolled pack 2 and the rolled pack 2 is rotated while a cutter handle 24 is held, thereby cutting off the packing material along the circumference of the rolled pack. The unpacking device also includes a rolled-pack holding means 4 that is inserted in the middle of the rolled pack and holds the rotary cutting means 27 almost parallel to the peripheral face of the rolled pack. In addition, the positional adjustment of the rolled pack can be arbitrarily made in accordance with its length and width. The rolled pack can be supported so as to be brought into a close position or separate position. Further, when unpacking is stopped during an unpacking operation, the rolled pack can be safely supported so as not to fall forwards or backwards, by attaching a stopper, which acts on a freely rotatable shaft, to a member holding the rotary shaft.
