<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser module which can perform the wave length control of output light in a band narrower than a period of etalon peak of an etalon of a wave length rocker. <P>SOLUTION: The laser module 100 is equipped with an external resonance type laser(10) including a first etalon (12) which has a periodic wave length peak in a transmission characteristic, and changes the wave length peak according to a given electric signal; a second etalon(31) which has a periodic peak in a transmission characteristic and transmits the light output from the external resonance type laser(10); a temperature controlling apparatus(40) which controls the temperature of the first etalon(12); and a temperature detector(41) which detects the temperature of the first etalon(12) located apart from the temperature controlling apparatus(40), or the substantially equivalent temperature to the temperature of the first etalon(12). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
