<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network which can be operated without providing a DHCP server for each remote station in a system to be operated with the DHCP. <P>SOLUTION: When the network is operated with a system control apparatus 21 for backup because a communication failure occurs in a transmission channel 100 between routers 13 and 23, IP telephone terminals 22-1 to 22-n each use an IP address acquired from an address management apparatus 12 and stored, thereby enabling connecting the terminals to the control apparatus 21. Thus, when the transmission channel 100 is restored, the IP telephone terminals 22-1 to 22-n connect the apparatus 12 again, thereby enabling operating the system using the IP address under control of the apparatus 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
