PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder unit capable of attaching and removing a plurality of works in a short time even when highly densely arranged. SOLUTION: The holder unit is provided with a base plate 22; a plurality of fixed members 24 parallelly fixed to the base plate 22 in parallel with one another; a plurality of movable members 26 each forming pairs with the fixed members 24, arranged in parallel with each fixed member 24, and opposed to each fixed member 24; and a driving member 28 for making the movable members 26 as in the pairs of the fixed members 24 and the movable members 26 come into contact with and off the fixed members 24 approximately in the directions in which the fixed members 24 and the movable members 26 are opposed to each other. A plurality of works 2 are joined to one another while being arranged in a row, and a work insertion space 23 for holding the plurality of works 2 in such a way as to be attached to and removed from one another is formed between each pair of the fixed members 24 and the movable members 26. At least one end on one side of the work insertion space 23 in the direction of extension of the fixed members 24 and the movable members 26 communicates with the outside.
