The invention relates to the use of a zwitterionic detergent in order to reduce complement activation on a plastic surface provided with a coating made of an ionic complex of an anionic heparin or heparin derivative and cationic surfactant. The invention also relates to a corresponding method for reducing complement activation on plastic surfaces, in addition to a medical device comprising at least one of said coated plastic surfaces. |
