<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showerhead that sprays shower water of high hair cleaning effect with sufficient water quantity and momentum and can prevent the splashing of the water. <P>SOLUTION: The showerhead is equipped with a water spray plate 3 disposed at the opening end of a showerhead main body 1 having a plurality of water spray holes 30 of a diameter of not less than 0.1 mm and not more than 0.4 mm distributed throughout the plate 3 with a total surface area of the hole openings of not less than 40 mm<SP>2</SP>and not more than 120 mm<SP>2</SP>, which gives rise to shower streams of sufficient water quantity and momentum. The individual shower streams formed are thin and hence the splashing of the water is reduced. The showerhead is further equipped with a flow regulating plate 4 having a plurality of flow regulating holes 40 disposed in the inside of, and separated by a space from, the water spray plate 3 forming a pressure controlling chamber 6, which gives rise to clearly separated shower water streams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
