<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a photo interrupter, a bundle wire and a clamp, etc., to simplify an image forming device, to reduce cost, and to more freely arrange a sensor flag. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises at least a reader/writer terminal for reading data of an RFID tag, the non-conductive sensor flag such as resin, the RFID tag mounted integrally with the sensor flag, a conductive member installed in the vicinity of the sensor flag or a shield member for shielding radio waves. An application to a paper sensor is provided by utilizing the nature of the RFID tag which is incompatible to the conductive member such as metal and is not capable of communicating with the reader/writer terminal when contacting or approaching the conductive member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
