BLOOD PRESSURE MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring apparatus which starts the blood pressure measurement of a subject from an optimum initial value corresponding to the environment of the blood pressure measurement.

SOLUTION: This blood pressure measuring apparatus comprises: an acceleration sensor for detecting a dynamic acceleration by the movement of the subject; a blood pressure measuring means for measuring a blood pressure by pressing the subject; and a pressure setting part for calculating the activity of the subject based on the output value of the acceleration sensor and setting the initial value of a pressing pressure to the subject by the blood pressure measuring means corresponding to the level of activity.
