The bicycles are placed next to each other, approximately vertically on a wall (3). The rear wheels of the bicycles make contact with positioning troughs (5b) extending from the wall and providing a lateral guide for the rear wheels, and define the support direction w.r.t. the wall, so that the ends of the handlebars of adjacent bicycles overlap. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle trailer for bicycles.
