<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing misidentification of coffins and cremains that smoothes a cremation ceremony by reliably preventing mistakes such as mix-ups when a coffin and cremains are carried. <P>SOLUTION: In a funeral hall 1 comprising a plurality of crematories 2, the misidentification prevention system comprises a computer 11 for storing an operation plan for vehicles 12 and 13 for carrying a coffin 9 and cremains, terminals 14 mounted on the vehicles and capable of receiving the operation plan via a transmitter 15, and communicators 16 installed on the crematories 2 and rooms 3 and 4 to establish two-way communication of signals sent from the computer 11 and terminals 14. When the vehicle approaches each communicator, the communicator 16 reads an ID code signal of the vehicle 12, 13 and transmits it to the computer 11. If the ID code signal does not match the operation plan, a warning signal is sent to the terminal 14 of the vehicle 12, 13, and the terminal receiving the warning signal can raise an alarm to an operator 10 to prevent misidentification. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
