PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving container and a method for manufacturing the container to decrease a failure rate due to a residual of a melted resin during injection molding, and also to provide a backlight assembly and a display apparatus having the above receiving container. SOLUTION: The receiving container includes: a plurality of sidewalls connected to one another; a first protrusion which protrudes inward from the inner side faces of the sidewalls and supports a display panel to be mounted; and second protrusions which protrude at intervals to the upwardness of the sidewalls to form a residual exposure preventing portion to prevent exposure of a residual by injection molding, and which reinforces the supporting force of the first protrusion. This can prevent hooking or the like on assembling a display apparatus caused by an injection residual of a melted resin, and can prevent a structural component of a display apparatus from being damaged by the injection residual.
