PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which allows an image within a moving image to be easily specified and printed by a printer. SOLUTION: The printer includes; a display for displaying an image; a moving image display part capable of displaying a moving image on the display; a still image display part for stopping the moving image on the basis of a user's stop instruction to display a plurality of still images Ic1, Ic2, Ic3 on the display on the basis of a plurality of images displayed in a prescribed time section including an instruction time when the user's stop instruction is given, within the moving image; a print part for receiving user's designation of one of the plurality of still images Ic1, Ic2, and Ic3 to print the designated till image. Such an embodiment allows the user to select and print desired one of the plurality of still images similar to a image displayed at the instruction time (04'30"84) when the user gives the stop instruction.
