<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attached paper box for a paper carton which can demonstrate a good usability in various fields. <P>SOLUTION: This attached paper box A is attached to the upper section of the gable top type paper carton C, and comprises a square cylindrical box body section 1, right and left side plate sections 2 and 3, and front plate portion 4. In this case, the box body section 1 corresponds to a space on a slope face positioned on one side of a top seal section T in the paper carton C. The right and left side plate portions 2 and 3 constitute both of the right and left end surfaces of the box body portion 1, and cover the upper part of the side surface of the paper carton over the total width. The front plate portion 4 connects the side ends with each other on the side without the box body portion 1 in the right and left side plate portions 2 and 3. By simply placing the attached paper box on the paper carton from above in such a manner that the right and left side plate portions and the front plate portion respectively cover the upper part of the side surface and the upper part of the front surface of the paper carton, the box body portion can be attached to the upper part of the paper carton under a state in which the box body portion is housed on the slope face positioned on one side of the top seal portion.
