PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor manufacturing method for positively and easily forming an end surface electrode having large mechanical strength and excellent in electrical characteristic in a compact PML-type capacitor element, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The capacitor is provided with a capacitor element manufactured by alternately and consecutively laminating a resin thin film to be a dielectric layer and an internal electrode metal-containing layer by evaporation method in a vacuum space, and an electrode provided on the end face thereof.
