摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure reliable sealing performance of a high-pressure fuel by giving effectively high sealing surface pressure particularly around a high-pressure fuel flow path 22 of a sealing surface of a fuel injection valve 1. SOLUTION: By fastening power, a throttle valve body 7 and a nozzle body 48 are each sealed in pressed contact with a sealing surface 2A and a rear-end surface in a leading end of a valve body 20. In order to heighten sealing surface pressure, instead of a conventional metal seal surface provided with a concave portion, a ring-shaped gaskets 61, 62 that are softer than both the bodies 7, 48 and are of material having moderately elastic in its inside are, with exclusive application particular to a high-pressure fuel passage 46, filling a ring-shaped sealing groove 64 that is provided around the high-pressure fuel flow path 46 and has a shape of a nearly rectangular cross section. Thereby, enclosing type gaskets are made up that are compressed until a metal touch is effected to ensure a predetermined sealing pressure on gasket surfaces. Further, constant sealing pressure is consistently ensured against variations in axial strength and depressurization and preferably fuel pressure is converted into seal depressing pressure to make up a gasket form that can be attached.
