The invention provides a gas liquid separator equipped in an air conditioner of a vehicle or the like. A gas liquid separator 1 has a cylindrical body 10, and in the body 10 is inserted an outlet pipe 20 for a gas phase refrigerant. To the upper portion of the body 10 is attached an inlet port 30 for two-phase refrigerant, and the two-phase refrigerant is flown into the body as a rotational flow. The refrigerant is separated by centrifugal force, and the separated liquid phase refrigerant is accumulated at the bottom of the body 10 and sent out through an outlet port 40. The refrigerant forming the rotational flow is rectified when passing through a rectifying member 100, preventing the liquid phase refrigerant in the accumulated portion from being disturbed. <IMAGE> |
