<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyamide resin for a printing ink, having good alcohol solubility and good low-temperature stability in a state of a solution and being capable of giving a surface printing special gravure printing ink excellent inn performances such as resistance to heat of heat sealing, oil resistance and water resistance. SOLUTION: This resin is prepared by condensation-polymerizing a polymerized fatty acid (A) containing at least 40wt.% 54C tribasic acid and a 2-4C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid (B) with a polyamine component (C) comprising ethylenediamine and a 3-9C aliphatic polyamine and satisfies the following requirements: the rate of component B to the total of components A and B is 20-40 equivalent %, the rate of the ethylenediamine to component C is 60-85 equivalent %, the weight-average molecular weight is 10,000-40,000, the acid value is 3-15, the total amine value is 5 or below and the melting point is 100-150 deg.C.</p> |
