PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily securely cool an electrolyte and electrode structure of a fuel cell stack, and miniaturize the whole stack. SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack 10 has a rectangular body shape as a whole. A first separator 16 is equipped with oxidizing gas flow paths 48a, 48b separately in the shorter side direction of the rectangular separator 16, and a second separator 18 is equipped with fuel gas flow paths 50a, 50b likewise in the separator 18. The first and second separators 16, 18 are each equipped with an inner coolant flow path 60 extending in the longer side direction midway in the shorter side direction of the rectangular shape, and an outer coolant flow paths 62a, 62b likewise near both the longer sides thereof. |
