A METHOD FOR THE PURIFICATION OF WASTEWATER

The invention relates to the field of ecology, in particular to purification of industrial and household wastewater. A method for the purification of wastewater consists in that original water in the form of film is subjected to the electric plasma action, treated with ultrasound in the presence of coal and treated with salt of polyvalent metal at weight ratio of coal: salt of polyvalent metal being equal to 1:(0.1-0.36), respectively. The invention allows to increase the degree of purification of solved and suspended organic and mineral substances due to reduction of indices of oxygen chemical consumption by 7-10.0 % with an increase of optical transmission coefficient (A, %) by 4-12.0%.
