The spring element is made up of an upper spring (2, 12) and a lower spring (6, 16) with both being made from plastic and having at least two sheet-like spring spars (4, 9; 14, 19). The central threaded ends of the spring spars have a central plate (20) that has a lock such that the upper and lower springs can be joined together and fixed against one another. The spring spars may have an angle spacing of 90 degrees such that they may be arranged, pair-wise, opposite one another. The lock on the central plate may be in the form of a Bayonet lock.
