PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat roller capable of securely sealing a plurality of holes being a jacket chamber opened on an end face of a roller main body to seal a heat medium having two gas and liquid phases without depending on diameter of the roller main body and reducing wall thickness from the jacket chamber to an outer surface of the roller main body. SOLUTION: In this heat roller 1 constituted by providing an induction heat generation mechanism 7 in a hollow part of the hollow cylindrical roller main body 1A provided with the plurality of holes being the jacket chamber 25 for sealing the heat medium having two gas and liquid phases in a thick-walled part by passing through along the direction of a shaft axis to treat an object to be treated abutted on a surface by heat, the plurality of holes opened on an end face on one side of the roller main body 1A are airtightly sealed by face joint due to friction pressure-contact of a substantial annular ring 27 having the same diameter as that of the roller main body 1A and the plurality of holes opened on an end face on the other side are airtightly sealed by face joint due to friction pressure-contact of a journal 3.
