<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MPEG-4 object information management method in an MPEG-2 TS, in which data can be managed for objects separately in an MPEG-2 TS state by making object information included in a PMT, during a process of converting the MPEG-4 data into an MPEG-2 TS. <P>SOLUTION: The object information management method includes a first step (step S21), in which an MPEG-4 SL to be transmitted to the MPEG-2 TS is input, a second step (step S22) of obtaining object information from the MPEG-4 SL, a third step (step S23) of the obtained object information made to associate with the PMT of the MPEG-2 TS, and a fourth step (step S24) of generating the MPEG-2 TS, having the PMT that is made to correspond to the object information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
