<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner, reducing the driving torque of a driving motor to lower the cost, and saving the space for a panel opening and closing driving mechanism to restrain any increase in size of the unit body. <P>SOLUTION: The panel opening and closing driving mechanism K includes: a driving motor 20; a driving shaft 21; and a link mechanism body 22. The link mechanism body includes: a fixed link 25 fitted to the indoor unit body 1; a power transmitting part provided on the fixed link and freely engaged and disengaged with and from the driving shaft to receive the power; a driving link 26, one end of which is rotatably supported on the fixed link, to which the power is transmitted from the driving motor; a first driven link, one end part of which is rotatably supported on a fixed link part at a predetermined space from the driving link; a second driven link 28 integrated with a movable panel 6, on which the other end part of the driving link and the other end part of the first driven link are rotatably supported at a predetermined space between them; and a coiled spring 29 stretched between the first driven link and the fixed link to apply the elastic force to the first driven link to be energized in the reverse direction to the dead load direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
