<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water apparatus, suitably preventing or restraining the occurrence of drain without stopping the drive of a burner, and heightening the heat exchange efficiency of a heat exchanger for recovering sensible heat. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water apparatus includes: the burner; and the heat exchanger for recovering sensible heat having a water pipe 4 for recovering sensible heat from combustion gas generated by the burner 1, wherein the water pipe 4 is a hot water device A1 having a high-temperature gas contact part P1 located rather closer to the upstream in the combustion gas flowing direction and a low-temperature gas contact part P2 located rather closer to the downstream in the combustion gas flowing direction, and provided with a piping part allowing the water supplied to the water pipe 4 to flow through a part of the high-temperature gas contact part P1 and flow into the low-temperature gas contact part P2, and water passing state changing means 52A, 52B for changing the distance or the flow rate of water supplied to the water pipe 4 and flowing through the high-temperature gas contact part P1 before the water flows into the low-temperature gas contact part P2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
