PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device having a high oscillation durability of a motor, and a valve device for controlling intake air for an internal combustion engine using the same. SOLUTION: The driving device is provided with a motor having an output shaft 42 with its tip end surface 42a in the axial 41a direction being spherical, and a restraining part 44 provided on the axis 41a of the output shaft 42 having a play with respect to the tip end surface 42a. The tip end surface 42a of the output shaft 42 is spherical, capable of keeping the shortest distance between the output shaft 42 and the restraining part 44 substantially constant even if the output shaft 42 is tilted. Consequently, the fluctuations of the play caused by the tilting of the output shaft 42 can be reduced with high oscillation durability of a motor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
