PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the vibration of the tip-side part of a brush holder and sliding noise generated between a commutator and a brush due to the vibration. SOLUTION: This motor with the brush comprises the band-shaped brush holder 3 that makes the brush 2 pressure-contact with the external peripheral face of the commutator 1 by a prescribed elastic force. A vibrator 13 having dynamic damper performance is arranged at the tip apart from a brush holding part 4 of the brush holder 3. The vibrator 13 is composed of an elastic body 14 extending in the length direction of the brush holder 3, and a substantially dice-shaped weight 15 firmly adhered to the tip of the elastic body 14.
